My gas hot water system failed in the middle of winter and Gareth helped me a lot to get a new system installed quickly. He was very helpful throughout the whole process and answered all my questions. The quality of work is very good and I would recommend him to anyone.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Tamborine local plumber Gareth Teale from GT Plumbing & Gas Services. He's just finished renovating our main bathroom & ensuite and we absolutely love them both. From quoting through to completion the job has been a dream (who says that about renos??) His willingness to work with us and what we wanted, his work ethic and his attention to detail was second to none. Can't recommend him enough. Thanks Gareth.

We finally decided to renovate our bathroom & couldn’t have been happier. Was imagining it to be stressful with workmen coming & going but Gareth does it all - even organised the skip. Gareth’s work is impeccable & each day we would come home & he had left the work area tidy. His advice on different options was great & he also advised us when he noticed our hot water system wasn’t legal & arranged for it to be sorted at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend GT Plumbing and Gas Services to everyone who asks about our newly completed bathroom and toilet renovation. If we ever extend, remodel or rebuild, we will be very keen to have Gareth back.

We engaged Gareth because we wanted a thorough job - our old bathroom was ancient and we didn't want a superficial ... renovation that would only last a few years, or have a myriad of subcontractors work on our house. We were confident from the beginning that Gareth would be thorough (eg replace all pipework) and take responsibility for all aspects of the renovation (he did all demolition, plumbing, plastering, tiling and installing himself, with the exception of the shower screen, which has been organised through a specialist company).

We have not had to worry about a thing - Gareth has impressed us with his:

- meticilous attention to detail (eg the quality of our tiling is a thing to behold); 

- neatness around our home (eg his extensive use of drop sheets, even outside, and the way the our home and yard was left tidy every day)

- work ethic (prompt, reliable and didn't seem to stop working from the moment he arrived even in the driving rain at freezing temperatures)

- approach to our requests for changes. Gareth was flexible and offered options when we weren't sure where to start.

He has also gone out of his way to make our lives easier - eg put the skip further away from his work site so that we didn't have to walk far to our mobile bathroom.

We are very happy with the result - we now feel confident about the state of our wet areas, and feel we have been given excellent value for money. We are new to South Australia, and so feel fortunate for having stumbled upon GT Plumbing and Gas Services.

GT plumbing and as Services has renovated our toilet satisfying our highest expectations. Our gas hot water service sprung a leak recently on a Sunday morning. Not wanting to pay exorbitant call out fees on a Sunday I emailed a gentleman I found in our local Flagstaff Hill area asking him to call on Monday morning. 

To my surprise I received a call from Gareth from GT Plumbing and Gas Services that afternoon asking what the problem was and ... I explained we had no hot water. Much to my amazement he said he could call around in half an hour and fit a temporary electric heater to get us through until he could fit a new gas hot water service.

He arrived within 30 minutes and disconnected the old unit and installed the temporary electric one. He did not charge a Sunday call out fee or for the cost of using the temporary unit.

Gareth was just so helpful, cooperative and friendly, like having someone you had known for years to do the work.

As he was already contracted to do other work in the next few days he agreed to have the new unit delivered here and he would install it as soon as he was available.

By the Wednesday evening he had been and installed the new unit and we had unlimited hot water for showers again.
